Mhairi had organised a meeting with the Scottish Health Minister, Shona Robison, and locals to discuss the planned closure of Ward 15.
Videos show that Mhairi Black was heckled and shouted at when protestors pleaded for one more person to be let into the meeting. Mhairi Black tried to tell protestors that there was limited room.
Protestors appeared to be screaming at Mhairi Black "You're a liar" and "You're a fraud".
Organisers eventually relented and allowed the protestor into the meeting.
Update: 21/05/2017 13:37Karen Kennedy has taken to facebook to give her side of the story. Ms Kennedy appears to be the mother who was pleading to be let into the meeting. Here's her post:
I'm the mum she wouldn't let in, Kids Need Our Ward invited Shona Robison to paisley to
meet parents and campaigners, she replied she would be happy to and to contact her
dept for arrangements, next thing you know Mhairi Black was the one who arranged the
meeting and it was an invitation only event, after we got in Shona Robison did listen to
what we had to say however the leader of the SNP in renfrewshire and another SNP
councillor were there, Ian Nicholson all of a sudden stated that as the New leader of
Renfrewshire Council he was there to listen, he stated that the previous councillor (Mark
McMillan) who was on the health board had been reporting lies back to the council and
this is why he wasn't aware of all this, I pointed out that him and his party colleagues
voted against supporting Kids Need Our Ward to halt the closure at a webcast Council
Meeting, l was then accused again of making things political, after the meeting Ian
Nicholson verbally abused me shouting at me outside that I needed "an education " I
said stand up for the people of paisley sign the petition to which he yelled at me, are you
even clever enough to put your signature on a petition. They don't give a stuff about our
children , Mhairi Black didn't even stay for the meeting she was whisked away in a car .
