Peter Zhang, head of Sino Fortone, has criticised the Scottish Government for its lack of 'commitment' to the Memorandum of Understanding between the SNP Government and a Chinese consortium.

Mr Zhang has kept options open by saying that he hasn't ruled out working with the Scottish Government in the future. Mr Zhang is reported to have said that they don't want to pull or cancel the agreement as they have put a lot of effort into the agreement.

He has left the ball in Scotland's court.

Dean Lockhart, Tory economy spokesman has been critical with reports quoting him as saying: "Chinese investors have vast experience of investing, so they would have expected a degree of competence. Instead the SNP proved to be amateurish."
